Fun in the Sun with DPR Summer Camps
Another school year is coming to an end, but that means summer is about to get started! Are you looking for fun and interactive ways to keep your child's mind active and engaged over summer break? Durham Parks and Recreation is here to help!
Teen summer camps are open to ages 13-17. Teen must be 13 by September 1, 2021 and cannot be older than 17 years of age by September 1, 2021. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m., held at Holton Career & Resource Center from Monday, June 13 through Friday, August 12. Registration will begin on Monday, March 7, 2022. Spaces are very limited in order to maintain small group sizes. Summer camp registration is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration can be completed online or in-person.
Online registration will be available 24 hours/day beginning Monday, March 7, 2022, at 9 a.m. In-person registration will be available at the Administration Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and at Recreation Centers during facility operating hours. If you need assistance updating your ActiveNet account for online registration, please call 919-560-4355 and staff will be able to walk you through the steps to make sure you are ready to register on Monday, March 7 at 9 a.m.

We're excited to announce that youth and teen summer camps will be held Monday, June 13 through Friday, August 12, 2022. Campers will enjoy a host of indoor and outdoor recreation activities including: fitness fun, arts and crafts, games, friendship building activities, and much more. Please know that every consideration has been made with the best possible safety practices in place to protect our participants, their families, and our staff.
