Keep Calm and Egg Hunt On

Get your baskets in the ready position because it's time for our annual Egg Hunts! Mr. Bunny is on his way for a visit to Durham Parks and Recreation's facilities and parks, hiding eggs for children 12 and under to find. Reminder, don't forget to bring your own basket for collecting eggs! Make sure you mark your calendar for some FREE family friendly (and canine friendly) events taking place this April!

  • Spring Egg Dive @ Campus Hills Pool | Saturday, April 2 from 1 p.m to 5 p.m.
    It's an Eggstravaganza! Dive, splash, and swim for eggs and win prizes at our Spring Egg Dive event. All swim levels are welcome and life vests will be provided. An adult will need to enter the water with children 9 years of age and younger.

  • Egg Hunt @ West Point on the Eno | Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to Noon
    Egg hunters wanted at our 35th Annual Egg Hunt at West Point on the Eno. Children 0-12 will be divided into groups according to their age for the egg hunt. Find the golden egg and win an extra prize! All age groups will start at 10:15 a.m.; games and crafts to follow. Visit ActiveNet for more information.

  • Dog-Gone Egg Hunt @ West Point on the Eno | Saturday, April 9 from Noon to 1 p.m.
    Don't let your canine companion miss out on this spring tradition! Bring your dog to West Point on the Eno, where they will experience an egg hunt: Canine style! All friendly dogs welcome and must remain on leash. Dogs must meet the minimum vaccination requirements of our Dog Parks. Dogs that are not members of the Dog Parks are allowed, but must show proof of vaccination. Visit ActiveNet for more information.

  • Egg Hunt @ I.R. Holmes, Sr. Recreation Center at Campus Hills | Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    Egg hunters wanted! Egg Hunt begins promptly at 10:15 a.m.! Children will be divided into groups according to age. Find the golden egg to win an extra prize!
